Both Jalen Green (23.5) and Alperen Sengun (20.5) are in the 20-point range for Houston, while Sengun has the highest rebound prop at 10.5.
Three different players have a 5.5 assist line: Curry, Butler and Houston’s Amen Thompson.
Golden State Warriors vs Houston Rockets Predictions & Picks
- Warriors vs Rockets pick: Under 220.5 points (-110)
- Warriors vs Rockets prop bet: Thompson Under 16.5 points (+100)
Houston, under the tutelage of head coach Ime Udoka, ranks sixth in the NBA in scoring defense at 108.7 points per game.
After a lengthy stretch that had them play 15 of 18 on the road, culminating in a season-long 6-game losing streak, they’re back home for six of the next seven, which covers both ends of the all-star break.
They’ve beaten the Raptors and the Suns in back-to-back games, climbing back to fourth in the West.
Golden State is also buoyed by a defense that ranks Top 10 in scoring, while hoping Steph Curry can carry them home in big games.
They also did all they could to give Steph a chance to compete for titles in what is the downslope of his career, adding Jimmy Butler at the trade deadline.
The Dubs won the first two games in the Butler era, but they were stopped by the Mavericks in Dallas, 111-107.
That drops them to 2-3 on their current 7-game roadie. Butler has helped the offense rediscover some potency, averaging better than 121.3 points per game over the last three contests.
This will be the fourth of five meetings on the season, with the Warriors winning two of three. However, with both teams playing the second night of a back-to-back, we’re targeting the total. Butler and Curry logged 35+ minutes each, while Draymond Green played 32, in a game that went down to the wire.
Four of Houston’s starters played at least 38 minutes, with Amen Thompson playing 41, Alperen Sengun 38 and Jalen Green 37.
The Rockets have gone Under the total in eight of 11 games on the second night, with GState coming in Under the total in five of nine. And in the last two meetings, neither team has hit the century mark. It could be a rockfight in the finale before the all-star break.
