The Golden State Warriors (19-20, 9-10 away, ATS) have fallen a game below .500 and out of the playoff picture entirely thanks to an ugly 1-4 stretch of basketball that includes road setbacks to the Pacers (108-96) and Raptors (104-101) in their last two games. Steph Curry and company will try to right the ship on Wednesday when they finish off their four-game road trip against the Minnesota Timberwolves (21-18, 10-8 home, ATS) at the Target Center in Minneapolis at 8:40 pm CT/9:40 pm ET.

Wednesday’s tilt in Minneapolis is a matchup of teams trending in opposite directions. Not only has Golden State lost four of five, the Warriors are also an abysmal 7-17 since starting the season on a 12-3 tear. Monday’s loss in Toronto was the latest in a long line of underwhelming performances from Golden State. The 9-31 Raptors had lost five in a row and had just one win in their last 17 games, but the Dubs let an eight-point fourth-quarter lead slip away during the 104-101 loss.
Steph Curry (22.7 PPG, 5.1 RPG, 6.1 APG) had a game-high 26 in the loss on 9-of-17 shooting. The rest of the Warriors were borderline awful, shooting just 36.6% from the field.
The Timberwolves shook off a 127-125 loss to the Grizzlies on Saturday with a 120-106 rout over the Wizards. Anthony Edwards (25.8 PPG, 5.7 RPG, 4.2 APG) had a game-high 41 against Washington after scoring just 15 on 4-of-13 shooting in the loss to Memphis.
The Wolves have struggled with consistency all season but have now won four of five and seven of eleven, improving to eighth in the West in the process.
I have a hard time backing Minnesota as a favorite this season. They have been wildly inconsistent and are just 12-21 ATS as the betting chalk. So I’m not laying the full 5.5 points, but I am taking Minnesota to win, and send Golden State into an even bigger tailspin.

The Golden State Warriors will face off against the Minnesota Timberwolves on January 15th in what is expected to be an exciting matchup between two talented teams. As fans eagerly anticipate the game, many are already making predictions on which team will come out on top and which players will shine on the court.
One of the key factors to consider when making predictions for this game is the recent performance of both teams. The Warriors have been on a hot streak lately, winning six of their last seven games and currently sitting at the top of the Western Conference standings. Led by stars Stephen Curry and Draymond Green, the Warriors have been dominating on both ends of the court and are looking like a serious contender for the NBA championship this season.
On the other hand, the Timberwolves have been struggling as of late, losing four of their last five games and currently sitting near the bottom of the Western Conference standings. Despite the team’s struggles, they still have talented players like Karl-Anthony Towns and Anthony Edwards who are capable of putting up big numbers and leading their team to victory.
When it comes to player props for this game, all eyes will be on Stephen Curry and Karl-Anthony Towns. Curry has been playing at an MVP level this season, averaging over 25 points per game and shooting over 40% from three-point range. He will be looking to continue his hot streak against the Timberwolves and could put up big numbers in this game.
On the other hand, Karl-Anthony Towns has been a force to be reckoned with in the paint, averaging over 23 points and 10 rebounds per game this season. He will be a key player for the Timberwolves in this matchup and could give the Warriors trouble with his scoring and rebounding abilities.
As for the best odds for this game, the Warriors are currently favored to win by most sportsbooks, with odds ranging from -200 to -250. The Timberwolves are considered underdogs in this matchup, with odds ranging from +180 to +220. However, anything can happen in basketball, and upsets are always a possibility.
In conclusion, the Warriors vs Timberwolves game on January 15th is shaping up to be an exciting matchup between two talented teams. While the Warriors are favored to win, the Timberwolves have the potential to pull off an upset if they can play to their full potential. Fans can expect a high-scoring game with plenty of highlight-reel plays from both teams.
