Defensively, Colorado is getting bigger and stronger up front with the additions of DL Taurean Carter (Arkansas) and Nikhil Webb-Walker (New Mexico State). However, questions remain as DC Charles Kelly departed for Auburn.
The move to the Big 12 could benefit CU, as Texas and Oklahoma are SEC-bound. The non-conference slate is manageable, with winnable games against NDSU, Nebraska, and Colorado State.
