Game 6 of the Rockets vs Warriors first-round series goes tonight in Golden State at 9pm ET / 6pm PT. The Warriors hold a 3-2 series lead, and tonight’s matchup is basically a must-win.
Golden State’s older legs cannot afford a Game 7 in Houston against the youthful Rockets, especially with a rested Timberwolves team awaiting the winner in the NBA playoff bracket.
That’s why I’m backing Jimmy Butler in the Rockets vs Warriors player props market.
Rockets vs Warriors Game 6 Player Props
Butler is tied for the second-highest points over/under at 21.5 with Alperen Sengun. They’re 4 points behind Steph Curry, whose 25.5 points prop tops the slate.

Rockets vs Warriors Player Props To Bet #1: Jimmy Butler Over 21.5 Points
They don’t call him Playoff Jimmy for nothing. Without him, the Warriors are an afterthought in the NBA Championship odds. Butler averaged over 27 points in his last two postseason runs with Miami, and was instrumental in Golden State’s wins in Games 1 and 4. He produced 25 and 27 points in those outings, shooting 55% along the way.
Butler was a non-factor in the other games, but let’s examine why. He was injured early in Game 2, sat out Game 3, and logged only 25 minutes in the Game 5 blowout. Yes, he was abysmal from the floor last time out, but that was an outlier performance.
In a must-win game tonight, you can count on heavy minutes for Butler. He’s played 36+ minutes eight times alongside Curry during his Golden State tenure, clearing 22 points seven times.

Rockets vs Warriors Player Props To Bet #2: Draymond Green Under 8.5 Points
While we’re backing Butler, we’re fading his teammate Draymond Green in the points market. Green’s prop sits at 8.5, a line he hasn’t cleared all series.
Green’s role on this team is to defend and rebound like a manic, and facilitate on offense. He’s the last scoring option when he’s on the floor, and his lack of volume supports that. Green has attempted only 33 shots all series. He’s shooting 36.4% from the floor, and 26.3% from three.
Warriors Starting 5 Shooting Stats
He’s been less efficient than usual, which we can attribute to the Rockets tremendous defense. In the regular season, 34% of Green’s threes were uncontested. In the playoffs so far, that number is just 24%. He’s getting less open looks, and this isn’t a guy who is going to splash a jumper with a hand in his face.

As the Houston Rockets and Golden State Warriors gear up for Game 6 of their highly anticipated playoff series, fans and bettors alike are eagerly anticipating the outcome. One popular betting option that has gained traction in recent years is player prop bets, which allow bettors to wager on specific individual performances rather than just the overall outcome of the game.
For Game 6 between the Rockets and Warriors, there are a number of intriguing player prop bets to consider. One of the most popular options is betting on the total points scored by star players such as James Harden and Kevin Durant. Both players have been putting up impressive numbers throughout the series, so betting on their point totals could be a lucrative option.
Another popular player prop bet is wagering on the total number of rebounds or assists recorded by key players like Draymond Green or Chris Paul. These players are known for their ability to contribute in multiple facets of the game, so betting on their performance in these categories could also be a smart choice.
In addition to individual player prop bets, there are also team-specific prop bets to consider for Game 6. For example, bettors could wager on the total number of three-pointers made by the Rockets or the Warriors, or the total number of turnovers committed by either team.
When placing player prop bets for Game 6 of the Rockets vs Warriors series, it’s important to consider factors such as recent performance, injuries, and matchups. Doing thorough research and staying informed on the latest news and updates can help bettors make more informed decisions and increase their chances of winning.
Overall, player prop bets can add an extra layer of excitement to an already thrilling playoff series between the Rockets and Warriors. Whether you’re a seasoned bettor or just looking to spice up your viewing experience, considering player prop bets for Game 6 could be a fun and potentially profitable option.
