MIN vs DAL Game 4 Injury Reports

A modicum of good news for the T-wolves is that they will enter Game 4 as the considerably healthier team. Rookie G-Leaguer Jaylen Clark is the only player listed on the Minnesota injury report.

But on the Dallas side, center Derrick Lively II is out with a neck injury. Lively was averaging 11.5 PPG and 10.0 RPG in the first two games before leaving Game 3 early. A big part of the Dallas frontcourt, Lively put up 8.8 PPG and 6.9 RPG in the regular season.

Luka Doncic remains on the Mavs’ injury report as well with lingering knee and ankle issues. They didn’t visibly slow the Slovenian in Game 3 when he put up 33 points, seven rebounds, and five assists in 41 minutes. That was Doncic’s third straight 30-point game and the third straight game he played at least 40 minutes.

DAL vs MIN NBA player props from DraftKings on May 28.

Doncic’s player prop is once again at 30.5 points, a number he has exceeded in each of the first three games of the series. Edwards leads the T-wolves players at 26.5. He needed a last-minute bucket to hit 26 on Game 3 and hasn’t gone over 26 in any of his last four.

Timberwolves vs Mavericks Prediction

I have been siding with the T-wolves the entire series, and I am going down with that ship. They were the better team throughout the regular season and, if Edwards can regain the form he showed in the first two rounds of the playoffs, are built to win championships.

Dallas was lights-out from beyond the arc in Game 3, which is likely to regress. The Mavs are not a great three-point shooting team. They finished 13th in the NBA in the regular season at 36.9% and are hitting at the same clip in the postseason. Rebounding has been key to Dallas success so far (the Mavs were +12 in the first two games before going -1 in Game 3) and the absence of Lively will be felt in the post.

MIN vs DAL Game 4 picks:

  • Timberwolves moneyline (+110)
  • Gobert over 10.5 rebounds (-130)
