A bevy of true superstars could be in new uniforms come Week 1 of the 2025 NFL season. The list includes receivers Davante Adams, DK Metcalf, and Cooper Kupp, edge rusher Joey Bosa, and aging QB Aaron Rodgers. Meanwhile, Myles Garrett, arguably the most dominant pass rusher in the league today, has said he’s played his last snap for the Cleveland Browns. DraftKings has posted next-team odds for all of the above, which are set out below in alphabetical order (by last name).

Davante Adams Next Team Odds
Odds as of March 6 at DraftKings. Check out the latest on DraftKings Missouri if you are a resident of MO.
After an unproductive 2024 splits between the Raiders and the Jets, Davante Adams was released by New York and is now free to sign anywhere. Will the former Packer head back to where it all began? Green Bay Bay is right in the middle of the league when it comes to cap space ($46.6m) and could be in the market for a true #1 receiver. Adams put up 854 yards in just 11 games with a bad Jets offense last season, which extrapolates out to 1,319 yards over a 17-game season. He still has plenty in the tank.
On the other hand, though, it’s not as if the Packers are starved for talent in their receiving corps – four different players finished with at least 600 receiving yards last year, led by Jayden Reed with 857. Other teams have more cap space and bigger needs at receiver.
The third team on this list, the 49ers, stands out as better value at +600. They have slightly less cap space than Green Bay ($32.9m) but Adams is from Paolo Alto and the Niners just parted ways with Deebo Samuel. It’s also a great win-now landing spot for the 32-year-old, who’s still in search of a ring.
The stars are aligning for a homecoming.
Joey Bosa Next Team Odds
The Los Angeles Chargers announced today that they were releasing five-time Pro Bowler Joey Bosa. Odds have yet to be posted on his next team, but we will have them for you as soon as they are. The early rumored landing spots include San Francisco, where he could team with his brother Nick to potentially form one of the league’s best pass rushes (if both can stay healthy).
Myles Garrett Next Team Odds
The incumbent Browns remain the favorites to be the next team that Myles Garrett plays for in the NFL, despite no observable shift in Garrett’s camp about never playing for the Browns again. The Browns have Garrett under contract for two more seasons pursuant to a five-year extension he signed ahead of the 2021 campaign.
Garrett has expressed interest in going to Washington, which is why the Commanders are high on the list, coupled with their massive amount of cap space ($78.5m) and the need for a better pass rush.
Cooper Kupp Next Team Odds
The Los Angeles Rams are actively shopping oft-injured receiver Cooper Kupp, who is under contract for two more years. Kupp has $39.58 million remaining on his contract with the Rams, spread out over the next two seasons, and GM Les Snead has been adamant that the chances of Kupp returning in 2025 are basically nil. That’s why the incumbent Rams are listed as +1200 longshots to be the next team Kupp suits up for in the NFL, just a 7.69% implied probability.
There hasn’t been much interest in terms of trade partners so far, according to reports. That isn’t a huge surprise given Kupp’s age, his tendency to get injured, and his massive contract. It’s unclear why the Broncos are listed so high on the list.
DK Metcalf Next Team Odds
Like Myles Garrett, DK Metcalf has requested a trade from his current team, the Seattle Seahawks, after six years in the Pacific Northwest. Metcalf has one year left on his current contract and will account for a $31.8 million cap hit for whichever team he plays for in 2025.
Unlike Garrett, Metcalf has been less, let’s say, vocal about his desire for a trade. Yes, he made the request, but he’s otherwise been fairly silent. The Seahawks have agreed to shop him but Metcalf hasn’t implied he won’t play for the Seahawks if a trade doesn’t come to fruition.
Aaron Rodgers Next Team Odds
Aaron Rodgers is the only play on this list with a clear, odds-on favorite in terms of his next team: the three-time MVP is expected to stay at MetLife Stadium, just switching from the AFC’s Jets to the NFC’s Giants, according to oddsmakers. Rodgers will be free to sign with whichever team he chooses once the Jets release him, which they have already announced the will.
Curiously, though, the Giants are also the new favorite to have the #1 pick in the 2025 NFL draft odds. That would mean the Giants trade up from #3 to #1 and, if history is any guide, teams only do that when they have their eyes on their QB of the future.

As the NFL offseason continues to heat up, fans and analysts alike are eagerly anticipating the potential moves that teams could make to bolster their rosters. One of the most exciting aspects of the offseason is the possibility of trades and acquisitions of star players from other teams. In particular, there are several high-profile players who have been the subject of trade rumors in recent weeks, including Myles Garrett, DK Metcalf, Davante Adams, and Nick Bosa.
Myles Garrett, the star defensive end for the Cleveland Browns, has been a dominant force on the field since entering the league in 2017. However, there have been rumblings that the Browns could be open to trading Garrett in order to free up salary cap space and acquire additional draft picks. Several teams have been linked to Garrett, including the Seattle Seahawks and the Las Vegas Raiders. The odds of Garrett being traded this offseason are currently sitting at +300, according to sportsbooks.
DK Metcalf, the dynamic wide receiver for the Seattle Seahawks, is another player who could potentially be on the move this offseason. Metcalf has emerged as one of the top receivers in the league and has drawn interest from several teams looking to add a playmaker to their offense. The odds of Metcalf being traded this offseason are currently sitting at +500, according to sportsbooks.
Davante Adams, the star wide receiver for the Green Bay Packers, is also a player who could be on the move this offseason. Adams is set to become a free agent after the 2021 season, and there have been reports that he and the Packers are far apart in contract negotiations. Several teams have expressed interest in trading for Adams, including the Las Vegas Raiders and the Baltimore Ravens. The odds of Adams being traded this offseason are currently sitting at +400, according to sportsbooks.
Nick Bosa, the standout defensive end for the San Francisco 49ers, is another player who could potentially be on the move this offseason. Bosa suffered a season-ending knee injury in 2020 and there have been reports that the 49ers could be open to trading him in order to address other needs on their roster. Several teams have expressed interest in trading for Bosa, including the Cleveland Browns and the New York Jets. The odds of Bosa being traded this offseason are currently sitting at +600, according to sportsbooks.
Overall, the NFL offseason is shaping up to be an exciting one, with several high-profile players potentially on the move. As teams continue to evaluate their rosters and make decisions on how to best position themselves for success in the upcoming season, fans will be eagerly watching to see which players end up being traded and which teams come out on top in these blockbuster deals.
