LeBron James (23.8 PPG, 7.7 RPG, 8.8 APG) and Anthony Davis (25.8 PPG, 11.9 RPG, 3.5 APG) are both on the Lakers injury report with foot issues, but both are listed as “probable” and both played 35 minutes in LA’s last game on Jan. 7 (a 118-97 loss at Dallas).

Spurs vs Lakers Predictions
Gigantic wildfires obviously aren’t good for anyone but, in a vacuum, a week-long rest for the aging Lakers certainly couldn’t hurt, especially after losing back-to-back road games to the Rockets (119-115) and Mavericks (118-97). Los Angeles responded well to a 122-110 home loss to Cleveland on New Year’s Eve by posting a pair of wins over the Blazers (114-106) and Hawks (119-102), improving their home record to a solid 12-5.
The Spurs, meanwhile, are certainly improved compared to last season but still struggle against quality opponents, going 8-11 against teams over .500 and 6-11 in road games. They enter Monday on a three-game losing streak against Denver (122-111 OT home), Chicago (114-110 away), and Milwaukee (121-105 away).
The Lakers are already 2-0 against the Spurs this season, as well, winning a pair of games in Texas (120-115 on Nov. 15, and 119-101 on Nov. 27).
I expect that to improve to 3-0 tonight.
Spurs vs Lakers Picks:
- Lakers -3.5 (-110)
- Victor Wembanyama under 25.5 points (-125)
